Our ever-popular Story Builder resource is now available in a Key Stage 3 edition to support engagement and learning across the curriculum through storytelling.

Whether you’re a languages teacher approaching conversational role play, a Geography teacher bringing tourism to life, or you need an engaging aid to tackle tricky topics, Story Builder will support students to connect with a subject and learn through it. Its cross-curricular structure and self-guided format make it perfect for classroom or club activity. Whatever the topic, Story Builder will support literacy, and give students an opportunity to enhance thinking skills and personal capabilities.

Story Builder guides learners through the building blocks of creating a narrative with engaging cross-curricular activities and light-touch career links. Its workbook format allows educators to engage with its sections as standalone activities to support individual learning areas, or as an in-depth project. Learners will explore, understand and create storytelling through their pre-existing knowledge of film and film language, comfortably navigating genre, character, setting and much more.

You can download the Key Stage 2 version of Story Builder here.

Updating our resources

We have developed a large catalogue of educational resources since launching in 2013, and some references and terminology will inevitably have dated as society and language evolves. We are aware of this and will be updating resources when our production schedule allows.
