Into Film offers a vibrant and engaging programme that champions film and games as a learning tool in the classroom, promotes careers in the screen industries, and inspires young people to express themselves through filmmaking. This is achieved through a wide range of learning materials, flagship events like the Into Film Festival and the Into Film Awards, and an ever-growing suite of teacher training and CPD opportunities.

Measuring the reach and impact of our activity

Over more than ten years, we have developed multiple ways to collect and analyse both quantitative and qualitative data to assess the impact of our programme. We have built internal expertise around different methodologies with the aim of measuring the positive benefits of engaging with film in education. This knowledge, supported by experienced external evaluators, ensures we have developed a robust evaluation framework that demonstrates how we will measure our reach, impact and legacy against our funders' objectives, as well as enabling us to continue to review and enhance our programme.

• 91,964 teachers from 17,046 schools (64% of UK schools) registered with the Into Film programme
• 116,049 teaching resources downloaded for use in UK schools
• 8,199 educators trained
• 8,062 extra-curricular Into Film clubs delivering film watching, reviewing and making in classrooms across the UK
• 1,028 schools and youth groups supported to deliver filmmaking activity with children and young people
• 388,727 children, young people and teachers hosted at the Into Film Festival at 3,000 plus screenings across 585 cinemas
