Laura is a speedy pre-teen Mexican sloth, whose family is left devastated after a destructive storm rips through their home and completely destroys it, leaving them without anywhere to live. As the only things they have left are their battered and rusty food truck and the family recipe book, the sloths decide to take a risk and settle down in Sanctuary City in the hope that their delicious food business will attract enough customers to allow them a fresh start.
