This new chapter in the iconic martial arts series brings fresh vigour to the philosophy of self-defence. Three years after the events in the series Cobra Kai, a troubled teen and kung fu prodigy called Li Fong moves to New York with his mum, hoping for a fresh start. At school, he develops a friendship with his classmate Mia, but things go awry after he attracts unwanted attention from a local karate champion, who challenges him to a competition. His kung fu teacher Mr Han calls upon the legendary Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso, to help Li blend the two different martial arts and develop a unique defensive style for the high-stakes showdown. This transformative journey unites the generations through the enduring legacy of martial arts as a discipline grounded in training, building confidence, and finding solutions beyond violence.
