Times are tough for Herb McGwyer, a once celebrated folk musician. So, when he is invited to perform for a private audience on a rugged island off the Welsh coast, he decides to accept the easy cash. What he wasn't expecting was to be greeted by eccentric lottery winner Charles, a devoted fan, who arranged the concert in honour of his late wife. The makeshift stage consists of a pallet on the beach, and Charles will be the only audience member.
