In the Heights

If our collective experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic have reminded us of anything, it's the importance of looking out for one another and supporting people through difficult times.

Whether it is helping somebody in a vulnerable situation, demonstrations of quiet acts of kindness, or joyous celebrations of diversity in all its forms, the films in this strand concentrate on stories of humanity, decency and unity. The big screen experience itself is an example of Community & Togetherness - groups of people, often strangers, coming together to share in a collective experience that can teach us empathy and compassion, broaden our horizons, or simply allow us to share in something magical.
