Synopsis

Military discipline is a tricky business. Obedience to orders is vital, but that can only work if the people giving those orders take responsibility for their actions. In this tense courtroom drama, two young Navy lawyers defend a pair of US marines who killed a man from their squad during an extreme punishment. Jack Nicholson gives a riveting performance as the commanding officer standing up for the military mindset.
