Synopsis

If you liked Jumanji, you'll love this fantastic adventure, which is also adapted from a book by Chris Van Allsburg and centres on a seemingly innocent board game that can actually turn reality upside down. Six-year-old Danny discovers the game in his family's basement and starts to play, accidentally transporting his home (and siblings) to outer space. There's only one thing for it - to keep playing, oh, and try to dodge the evil robot, alien lizard creatures and the meteors...

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
