Synopsis

There's high-tech action galore as Tom Cruise returns for an intense and exciting fourth outing as top espionage agent Ethan Hunt. But this time his daredevil character has to transform from a lone wolf into a true team leader, after his Impossible Missions Force crew are blamed for a massive terrorist bombing in Russia, and then disowned by the US president under the so-called 'Ghost Protocol'. Naturally, Ethan's determined to clear his agency’s name and prevent events escalating into nuclear attack, but with no resources or backup, it's easier said than done. To make matters worse, he's forced to work with a new bunch of fellow IMF fugitives - without knowing if they can really be trusted.
