Synopsis

Set in the near future, this cautionary sci-fi tale is thought-provoking and slick. It sees brilliant artificial intelligence scientist Dr. Will Caster and his researcher wife work toward the creation of an all-knowing, sentient machine called PINN. A radical anti-technology organisation fights to prevent him, fearful of the consequences of a world where computers are able to transcend the capabilities of the human mind. Their attack leaves Will with a bullet in the stomach laced with radiation, plunging him into in a race against time to save his own consciousness like a computer file.

What our educators say

"The art of discussion has improved and the breadth of language used has been enhanced by the variety of films watched, all of which we order free from the Into Film website."
