Synopsis

Wealthy businessman Tomas and his family are taking a much-needed skiing holiday in the French Alps. As the photogenic family take the opportunity to spend time together and enjoy the breathtaking scenery they seem to be having an idyllic break. However, a sudden accident and the reaction of Tomas in particular throw the family into disarray with the aftermath leading to a sharp reevaluation of the family’s relationships. This sharp, often funny black comedy raises many questions about family dynamics and may leave the audience wondering how they would really react in perilous situations.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
