Scott Lang is a petty criminal recently released from prison. He is recruited by Hank Pym, a retired inventor who has developed an astonishing suit which enables its wearer to shrink to the size of an ant whilst increasing strength. Now under the guise of Ant-Man, Scott must use these new skills to prevent this technology from falling into the wrong hands. Slightly smaller in scale than previous films in the Marvel universe, this is a frenetic, very funny action film, fuelled by a charming performance from Paul Rudd and providing a fresh spin on the traditions of the heist film.
