Synopsis

This high-seas adventure introduces us to a reckless one-eyed pirate captain who is determined to sail the wild seas and retrieve a treasure that will make him rich. Every night, he visits the same bar to choose a crew but every time he sets sail on his ship, something always goes wrong. How will the plucky, foolish pirate captain ever figure out a way to find his treasure? This slapstick, highly original animation is creative, funny and charming whilst also containing themes of discipline and acceptance.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
