Synopsis

In a valley, a dog lives happily with his master, a shepherd with an unusual way of farming. This shepherd doesn’t just shear his sheep’s wool, he creates clouds out of it to make rain, thus preserving the cycle of life. But if the shepherd wasn’t everlasting, what would happen to the valley? When suddenly faced with this question, the young dog has to be creative and persistent to keep the valley happy and healthy. This gorgeously animated film is a bittersweet tale of life, death and the importance of keeping the natural world working in tandem with our lives.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
