This month we have 20 more short films available to stream immediately on Into Film+, with four of these titles - all of which are climate-themed - being brand new to Into Film.

Migrants

Our featured short film for February is Migrants, a beautifully crafted 3D computer animation from five graduating students in France. The film follows two polar bears, a parent and its child, who are forced to leave their home due to the changing environment. They try to find somewhere new to settle, but the community of brown bears they come across aren't very hostile. Migrants demonstrates the effects of climate change and how the issue intersects with other topics such as displacement and migration.

Migrants is available to watch now on Into Film+, but if you want a sneak peek at the style of the film then you can watch the trailer below.

New Shorts

Also brand new to Into Film are three more shorts which explore the topic of climate change in very different ways.

2025: The Long Hot Winter is a British live-action mockumentary which imagines a near-future of warm winters. The film uses humour to explore the changing climate which is having serious implications each year all around the world.

The Beauty is a poetic short film produced in Germany, with English language voiceover, that explores the effects of plastic pollution on the ocean and its many creatures. The film's ironic title and impactful imagery is a stark reminder to act now.

The Wonderful Story of Aisha, Ali & Flipflopi the Multicoloured Dhow Boat is a colourful, vibrant, and uplifting African animation. Made in Kenya, it tells the story of a family who decide to tackle plastic pollution by building their own boat out of recycled materials and using it to spread the word.
