Synopsis

Mater, the run-down tow truck, spends his time scaring the other vehicles with silly pranks. After one of his scares, the police car warns him about the Ghostlight, a mysterious blue orb that haunts the motorway and the local gas station where the cars congregate. On an eerie evening, left all alone, Mater comes face to face to with his fears, getting a taste of his own medicine. This spooky short with some of the much-loved characters of the Cars franchise includes both suspenseful and humorous moments that will delight young audiences.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
