Synopsis
The fourth instalment of this popular animated series sees the family of monsters once again having their lives turn upside down, as Dracula prepares to retire from running his prized hotel. Chaos begins when their nemesis Van Helsing shares his latest invention, the ‘Monsterfication Ray’, with Mavis’s ditsy husband Johnny, who is desperate to experience what it is like to be a monster. Unaware that the invention also has the power to turn monsters back into humans, Drac’s biggest nightmare comes true when he is turned into a mortal. What’s worse, his monster pals follow suit and they discover if they don’t find a cure as soon as possible, they will live as boring humans forever! Full of slapstick scares and body-swap silliness, this family animation explores accepting people as they are and includes some of the film series’ much-loved characters.
