Synopsis

Nate grew up in an orphanage with his older brother Sam whom he last saw 15 years ago after Sam was kicked out for their repeated attempts at theft of important artefacts from a famous expedition. After meeting Sully, a treasure hunter who knew his brother, Nate is recruited him to help recover a fortune lost by aristocrat and explorer Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a straightforward heist becomes a thrilling chase across the world, when they encounter the relentless Mocanda, who believes his family are the rightful heirs to the fortune. Befriending others along the way, the duo try to gather clues and solve the mystery behind the fortune, with Nate hoping he may also finally be reunited with his brother. This video game adaptation is a fast-paced adventure with a historical context that discusses themes of ownership and colonial power.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
