Following The Avengers’ epic battle with Thanos, Scott Lang, otherwise known as the size-shifting superhero Ant-Man, has become a successful writer and is living with his girlfriend Hope van Dyne, alias The Wasp, and his daughter Cassie. When Cassie invents a device that can interact with the Quantum Realm, a sub-atomic dimension, this sets off a series of events that culminates in a portal opening, sucking Scott, Hope, Cassie and Hope’s parents, Hank and Janet, into the Quantum Realm itself. Separated almost immediately, the group must now contend with the realm’s strange creatures, dangerous terrain, extraordinary physics and its new ruler, the mysterious and menacing Kang. Kicking off Marvel’s 5th phase, this superhero adventure harkens back to the science fiction movies of old but with a modern, effects-driven engine.
After casting a spell which opens the doorway to the multiverse, Stephen Strange and his allies must confront a terrible threat.
