Synopsis

A high-society wedding takes some unexpected twists in this legendary romantic comedy, starring three of Hollywood's most iconic actors. Tracy Lord and CK Dexter Haven have divorced, but the arrogant CK wants to win back his snobbish ice queen - even though she's due to marry the dull but loaded George Kitteridge. CK is invited to the wedding, but he's been bribed by a newspaper threatening to expose Tracy's family secrets. In order to stop the newspaper going public, he agrees to smuggle in two reporters, including the charming Macauley Connor - who, just to stir things up a little more, falls for Tracy too!

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
