Synopsis
Marlon Brando is often called the greatest screen actor of all time, and this blistering drama shows why. In his youthful prime, he gives a terrific performance as a dockyard worker who takes a stand against corruption even though it makes him an outcast in his community. The theme of the film is about finding the strength of character to do what's right, a powerful idea that's matched here by the brilliantly naturalistic acting - these are people you can really believe in and root for.
