A stolen dinosaur egg is passed from creature to creature until it hatches among a group of lemurs. They bring up their adopted reptile, who they call Aladar, as one of their own until a violent meteor shower disrupts their jungle idyll. As they flee the chaos, Aladar and his friends meet up with others of his kind, and soon the young dinosaur finds himself the leader of an exodus. This family adventure combines its animated characters and digitally enhanced live backgrounds to great effect, and the film's assorted carnivores are genuinely scary.
Madcap, slapstick adventure centred on the Natural History Museum, in which an enormous dinosaur skeleton is pursued through a foggy London.
