Synopsis

In the fifth film of the series, Harry and friends are disturbed by both the threat that Voldemort has returned (which the Ministry Of Magic denies) and also by the arrival of a new teacher at Hogwarts. Each instalment is just that little bit darker than the previous one as Harry gets older and the stakes rise - and there are still great special effects and plenty of exciting moments, too.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
