An ambitious young woman is on her way to marry her boss - a much older man who also happens to be very rich. The problem is that he's on a remote Scottish island, and when the fog stops her from getting there, her certainty about her plans starts to unravel. Made by the great filmmaking duo of Powell and Pressburger, this is brilliant mix of comedy, love story and strange dream sequences that add up to a film with a feeling all of its own.
A spoiled society girl is kidnapped by her disapproving father, then escapes and goes on a madcap road journey with an out-of-work journalist.
