Synopsis

Four years after the terrifying events at Jurassic Park, it becomes apparent that there's a "site B" on another island where giant dinosaurs were being hatched and now live free. A group of experts travel there to document the prehistoric creatures in the wild - but the simultaneous arrival of a group of (very) big game hunters causes chaos, and soon even the"real' world is threatened by rampaging dinos. Director Steven Spielberg's sequel is more of a rollicking monster-movie than the original, but never less than spectacular and thrilling.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
