Action and Adventure
This rip-roaring disaster movie is not the film to watch for a scientifically accurate analysis of what would happen if an asteroid the size of Texas really hit the earth. What it does offer is fast-paced action heroics from Bruce Willis as an "Ordinary Joe" oil driller, called upon to go into space with his team of misfits to plant a nuclear warhead in the centre of the asteroid, attempting to explode it before it destroys all life on the planet.
Based on a novel by a noted astronomer, this film is about a woman who since childhood has been searching out extraterrestrial messages.
