Bonnie is now eight years old but still enjoys playing with her toys, while the neighbouring kids think her childish as they all have tablets and phones. As her parents worry about her not making friends, they decide that it’s time for Bonnie to get a tablet too and buy her a frog-themed one named Lilypad. Bonnie quickly becomes addicted to her new device, neglecting her old toys, leading to Jessie and the others becoming concerned. Jessie contacts Woody – now living with Bo Peep and helping abandoned toys to find new homes – in the hope that he can provide advice. As the toys band together to try and remind Bonnie that they are still to be played with, Bonnie is invited to her first sleepover by her friends from school. ‘Toy Story 5’ is a comedy adventure about technology, growing up, and making friends.
