Synopsis

This hugely entertaining special effects comedy follows the adventures of Stanley Ipkiss - a run-of-the-mill banker who is down on his luck. But after finding an ancient mask, Stanley discovers that wearing it turns him into everything he always wanted to be - charismatic, powerful, zany and charming. Eventually, he starts to romance the gorgeous Tina, much to her powerful boyfriend Dorian Tyrell's displeasure - and when Tyrell then goes on to try to claim the mask for himself, dire consequences ensue....

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
