Revision season is already well underway and film can be the perfect way to make this stressful period both more accessible and more fun.

So, we've brought together our numerous films, film guides and resources that link to GCSE and A-level specifications (in addition to Standards and Highers for Scotland). The below list covers a wide range of subjects, from English Literature and Citizenship to History and Computer Science & ICT, and each resource references the specific Assessment Objectives that they help learners explore.

Into Film helps young people academically because it shows a different way of learning. It's not as much me standing up at the front delivering the lesson, it's very hands on, engaging and led by the young people.

* Screenings for an entertainment or extra-curricular purpose require a PVS (Public Video Screening) Licence from Filmbankmedia. State-funded schools in England are covered by the PVS Licence.

Into Film is supported by the UK film industry through Cinema First and the BFI through National Lottery Funding, thanks to National Lottery players. Since the very first National Lottery draw in 1994, public support - raised directly through National Lottery ticket sales - has funded more than 670,000 projects, raising more than £46 billion for good causes.
